Students in the GATE group this term have been working on a study of GENETICS, using the new online learning programme Renzulli Learning. Teacher Jean Edwards says the students are buzzing, and really enjoying the opportunity to work at their own pace and to choose their own activities about genetics: "Do check out our videos - the students each have made their own presentation, using their own research from Renzulli sites. And at the same time as learning about Genetics, they've been learning to manipulate software like Keynote and GarageBand. YES they each made their own music too for their slideshows! They've produced some amazing stuff for 9-and 10-year-olds, and are rightfully proud of themselves!"
