We have been doing a lot of great things in R8 . We have been doing a topic on NZ using a website that I put together. If you are a teacher of Y5/6 and want to have a look at this and possibly use it, please feel free. It is an ‘inquiry type’ approach and has the opportunity for the children to make many of their own choices.
At the time of this writing, we are about a third of the way through the ‘trip’. It is time consuming, but the children are thoroughly enjoying it.
If you do use the website, drop me an email and let me know how it went, any suggestions to improve it (or any glitches!).
