Arts
We value the arts to ensure our children have exposure to a full range of experiences in The Arts.
School Production
At CTS we have put on some AMAZING productions over the years organised by teachers in the Senior and Middle School.
Our productions are usually every 2nd year. Over the last 4 years the students have performed the LION KING (2019) and WHAT’S THE CRIME MR WOLF (2021).
Visual Art
We are so lucky to have Heather take our art classes on a Thursday. She brings out the very best in our children enabling them to create amazing works of art.
Music
We are lucky to be able to provide opportunities for students to have Music Lessons from specialist music teachers.
Kaylee and Fiona take lessons throughout the day in a variety of instruments.
Language Classes
CTS offers NZSL, Mandarin & Japanese lessons.
We have been lucky to have had specialist NZSL tutors come in and support classes in learning NZSL over the years. We also have some fabulous Teacher Aides who have done many courses and set up the CTS Sign Club where students and teachers can meet to practise and learn sign language.
