Wow! What great timing we had before the rain came, good thing we moved the start time earlier!
School Cross Country A Huge Success
On Tuesday (3rd May) we finally got to run our cross country.
Apologies that we had to adjust the timings of the races at late notice but we were trying to avoid the rain again!
The kids were amazing, running what is a difficult course with a smile on their faces. The results below show first, second and third and some of these races were so close.
What I really loved as well was the cheering and huge support for everyone who was out there giving it their best and kids like Finn Robertson who supported one of his class mates around the course when he was finding it tough going. Nice one Finn!
Also another student who showed great RISE values was Logan Smith who was a great support to the young students up the hill who tripped and he helped pick them up each time – AWESOME Logan!
Congratulations to these people who have achieved a placing and a special congratulations to Alexandra and Ben who are the 2022 Girls and Boys Cross Country Champions. You both ran very strong races.
WELL DONE to all students who showed their RISE values at their best, by giving the school cross country everything they had and persevering right to the end!
